Silencing an Alarm

When the alarm bell or siren is sounding, enter your user code or present your

card to a keypad or reader during the Status List display.

All/Perimeter or Home/Sleep/Away System

CANCEL VERIFY displays.

• Ifaburglaralarmisvalid,pressVERIFYtosendavericationmessage

to the Central Station.

• Ifavalidalarmhasnotoccurred,pressCANCELtocancelthealarm

and send an Abort or Cancel message to the Central Station. The

keypad displays ALARM CANCELLED and the security system will be

disarmed.

What to do when a trouble tone is sounding

You can silence the trouble tone by pressing any key. This only silences the

keypad and does not correct the condition that originally caused the problem.
